Our Co-operative Preschool
Parent participation means being in class on a monthly basis, and assisting on one committee
with specific preschool duties. Limited non-participating positions are available in each class.
All positions are on a first-come first-served basis.
A co-operative preschool is a non-profit organization of parents who have banded together for the purpose of maintaining a preschool for our children. By doing this on a co-operative basis, with parent participation, we can lower the costs while providing an excellent program for our children where parents and children learn, share and care together.
Our facilities include:
- Large bright Playroom
- Art Room
- Gymnasium
- Outdoor Play Area
Our programs provide:
- A strong foundation for lifelong learning
- Emphasis on caring, sharing while learning about themselves, and their community
- Relaxed and natural learning through Circle Time discussion, songs and turn-taking
- Monthly themes explore concepts such as colours, shapes, seasons, special events
- Community Field Trips
- Parent Education Nights
